Speaker Information and Resources

Instructor

This site is designed to provide you with information and resources to assist you with your roles and responsibilities as an AICPA Conference Speaker. The sections below contain links to downloadable documents that you should review and complete if necessary.

Speaker Handbook
This document is the complete guide to your responsibilities as an AICPA conference speaker.  Please take some time to review.  If you have any questions, please contact your conference project manager.

Speaker Expense Reimbursement Form
To receive reimbursement from the AICPA for expenses incurred as a result of participating in a conference, you must submit this form within 60 days of the conference to your conference project manager. Requests for reimbursement should be accompanied by itemized receipts, tickets, and other supporting documentation.  Please note that reimbursements will not be processed without a completed form.

Use Best Travel to your Advantage!
Speakers are requested to use Best Travel, the AICPA preferred Travel Agency, to arrange their airline transportation.  Click above to find out what your advantages are and how easy it is.

Speaker Hotel Request Form
The AICPA will make your hotel reservations based on the information provided on this form.  Please review, complete and return to your conference project manager.

AICPA PowerPoint Template
In an effort to provide consistency at our conferences, we strongly encourage speakers to use the AICPA PowerPoint Template as the background for their presentation.

CPE CREDIT

Speakers receive CPE credit for both their preparation and presentation time to the extent the activities maintain or improve their professional competence and meet the requirements of these CPE standards. Typically they receive double the credit for their session. For repeat presentations, CPE credit can be claimed only if it can be demonstrated that the learning activity content was substantially changed and such change required significant additional study or research.

Example:
For learning activities in which participants could receive 8 CPE credits, instructors may receive up to 24 CPE credits (16 for preparation plus 8 for presentation).

All speakers retain the copyright to their individual presentations and the AICPA retains the copyright to the full set of Conference Materials.
